Generally
For fishing within the fisheries management area, a valid fishing license is required for everyone over 12 years of age.
For youth under the age of 16, the red annual card is valid. This card is free and can be collected from our other card sellers.
The fishing license is personal and cannot be transferred.
The fishing license must be worn visibly and presented at the request of supervisors.
Lost fishing license is not replaced.
Total fishing ban in Källbyverket's treatment ponds.
Fishing prohibited in Önnerupsbäcken, the water course by the golf course, and by the Lomma church.
Habo ponds are part of a protected nature area.

Fishing season
Salmon and/or trout:
Prohibited between 1/10 - 31/12.
Excluding the conservation area at the estuary (15/9 - 30/4).

The Lund section:
Fishing ban during the period 1/10 - 31/12 between the bridge at road 108 and Värpingebron Lommavägen.
On the south side of the river, from the railway bridge to Lommavägen in Värpinge, all year round.

Pocket distance:
Fishing is prohibited in Önnerupsbäcken, the water course by the golf course, and by the church.
Habo ponds are part of a protected nature area
Outside the estuary:
Fishing ban 15/9 - 30/4

Methods
The fishing license entitles you to fish with two hand tools.

Catch Limits
A maximum of 2 salmon-type fish/day may be caught.
The minimum size for trout is 50 cm and for salmon 60 cm.
Spawned trout or salmon must be reintroduced in such a way that the fish survives. Colored spawning fish and incorrectly hooked salmonid fish must also be re-released.
Pike: Max 2 fish caught and taken home / card and day. Longer than 100 cm is re-exposed!
Perch: Max 3 fish caught and brought home / card and day.

Carp must be reintroduced.
In total, each angler may bring home a maximum of 5 fish/day.

Eel fishing ban: As of May 1, 2007, all eel fishing is prohibited.

Other rules
Forfeiture of the right to fish
Fishing licenses can be refused or confiscated by the association/supervisors.
Supervisors also have the right to reject a person who does not follow the rules and/or behaves in a disruptive manner for the surroundings and/or the environment
