All motorboat traffic with internal combustion engines is prohibited in Ubby-Långsjön.

When renting a boat at Fjällnora open air farm for fishing in Trehörningen and Ramsen, the Uppsalakort's Day Card is included in the boat rental, and the fishing license does not need to be paid for separately.

The Uppsala card is valid for 365 days from the time of purchase and is valid for the holder and spouse/partner as well as accompanying children/youths under the age of 19 and in the card holder's company.
It must be carried when fishing and the identity must be able to be verified during a check. Contents of bags, pouches and rucksacks must be shown on request.
Signs at the water and instructions from fishing supervisors have the same validity as the fishing rules.
Violations of the rules of the fishing license can lead to confiscated equipment and fines.
The Uppsala Junior card for young people up to the age of 19 is completely free of charge.

Methods:
Fishing is permitted for sport fishing with hand gear and may not be conducted for resale or other turnover.
Crab fishing is not included in the card.
Jerk fishing is prohibited.
A maximum of three rods may be used by the same angler.
For ice fishing and drag rowing/trolling as well as boat fishing:
Ice shovel with a maximum of five (5) implements.
Trolling with a motor with a maximum of three rods per boat is permitted.
Fishing from a boat and floating ring is allowed in most lakes, even trolling with a maximum of three (3) rods per boat.

Catch Limits:
Minimum size for zander and pike is 45 cm, maximum size 75 cm.
This take-out window applies in all waters, this means that only pike and zander between 45-75 cm may be taken.
A maximum of 2 fish per card and day of these species may be kept.
In the case of perch, all perch of 38 centimeters or over must be re-released.

Asp, eel and carp must always be reintroduced.
Reintroduction must take place in the water where the fish was caught.

Other rules:
Fishing from bathing areas is prohibited during the bathing season, vacant land and fenced areas may not be entered.
Driving on private roads is not permitted.
From ice and boat/float ring, fishing must take place at least 50 meters from site and jetty.
