FISHING RULES
The fishing license area. Säveån with upper limit: The bridge at the power plant in Floda. Lower border road bridge Uppströms power plant in Hedefors.
Spinning fishing only permitted downstream of the Hillefors power plant.
The limits are shown on the map on the website and the fishing distance.

Fishing season 15/5 to 31/8 (applies to card buyers).
When the water temperature is 20 degrees or more, fishing is closed.


During the entire fishing period, restrictions on the number of fishing licenses apply.
Fishing license only day license sold/24 hours 02.00-02.00.
Children up to 13 years of age fish for free with an adult who has a valid fishing license.
The fishing quota does not change.
The cards are personal and cannot be transferred.

Fishing in the area indicated below is not permitted:
From the north side of the river downstream of Tullängsbron to a point about 150m downstream of Hillefors bridge.
From bridges or spans.
From plot of land.
From the factory area of the Hillefors mill and a stretch from the Hillefors bridge to the outlet of the power plant dam 100 m downstream of the bridge.
Cultivated land or a fenced area may not be entered.

Fishing only permitted with hand gear for spinning or fly fishing in accordance with what was indicated on the map in the leaflet/website.
On the fly stretch only fly in the traditional way, no plastic ball or similar.

When spinning, it is not permitted to use plastic balls or the like.
Fishing from a boat and fishing with a baited hook is not allowed except in Hedefor's power plant dam between the highway bridge and the so-called Barnhems bridge.
However, only single hooks may be baited.
Only one fly on the fly when conducting fly fishing.
ALL FISHING MUST BE DONE WITH A BARBLESS SINGLE HOOK (APPLIES TO SPIN FISHING AS WELL)

Minimum size of trout is 45 cm and maximum size 49 cm. All trout under 45 cm and all trout over 49 cm must be released.

A maximum of one trout per day may be kept between 45-49 cm. All other trout must be carefully reintroduced.

The number of trout caught/landed and released (catch&release) is limited to 5 per day and fisherman. After that, the fishing ends.

All directed fishing for salmon is prohibited. It is not permitted to use a fly rod with any type of two-handed grip. If salmon is caught, it must be returned.

Fishing with only one hook and barbless or clamped barb, applies to both spinning and fly fishing.
