Fishing licenses must always be redeemed. Only a valid fishing license entitles you to fish. The fishing license is personal. The rules must be followed.

Keep in mind that you are required to immediately return a fish to the water, whether dead or alive, if:

1. caught during periods when it is prohibited to fish for the species,
2. caught with gear or method not permitted for the species, or
3. does not meet any prescribed minimum or maximum size for the species.

Methods

Only fishing with hand gear (rod) is allowed from land or from a boat. Mass-catching tools such as nets, nets and nets are prohibited from being used in the area.

Fishing season

Salmon

Fishing period: 1/1 - 14/9. Peace period (forbidden to fish) 15/9 – 31/12.

Trout

Fishing period: 1/1 - 14/9 and 1/11 - 31/12. Peace period (forbidden to fish) 15/9 – 31/10.

Grayling

Fishing period: 1/1 - 14/4 and 1/6 - 31/12. Peace period (forbidden to fish) 15/4 – 31/5.

Catch Limits

Salmon

• Minimum size 50 cm
• Maximum dimension 65 cm
• Only one salmon may be caught and kept per fishing per day

Trout

Minimum size 50 cm

You may only catch and keep farmed trout . All wild trout must be unconditionally reintroduced to the water with the greatest care.

Grayling

Minimum size 35 cm
