Members fish for free (on presentation of membership card) except in rainbow waters and during the carp season (1/3 - 30/11) in Färgsjön.

Fishing ban during October 5-15, due to moose hunting. No running water included. Boat engines are prohibited in Välen and Färgsjön.
Children up to 11 years of age fish on their guardian's fishing license in rainbow lakes. In other lakes, children up to 15 years of age apply.
Catch restrictions in Stora Hammarsjön's FVO: Trout under 50 cm, perch over 35 cm and pike over 85 cm must be released again. A maximum of 2 pikes per card per day may be kept. In winter, the fishing license is also valid for a maximum of 5 anglers with a single hook for ice fishing. When ice fishing, it is permitted to use a maximum of 5 rods. For rainbow fishing, 2 fish per day pass applies. In the rainbow lakes, no limit on pike.
