Our fishing rules

• The fishing license is personal and entitles you to fishing with hand gear (fishing rod, casting rod, fly rod).
• Maximum four rods per boat when trolling, regardless of the number of people.
• When trolling fishing, only rod paravans may be used.
• It is not permitted to use bait fish caught in other lakes or watercourses.
• Goose fishing is prohibited from 1 May to 30 June in the entire lake. All zander that come up during this time in connection with fishing for other species must be quickly released back.
• Crayfish fishing is prohibited.
• Children/youths up to 16 years of age fish for free.
• Fishing without a fishing license will be immediately reported to the police and may result in confiscated equipment.

Size requirements for fish that may be taken

• Goose 40 cm to 60 cm (protected 1 May-30 June) maximum 2 per day and fishing license.
• Pike: 0 cm to 80 cm.
• Perch 0 cm to 35 cm (All perch allowed during organized pimp competitions approved by the association)
• Fish outside the intake windows must be re-released regardless of condition.

Control fees

• Busy fish outside max/min measurements. SEK 2,000 per fish.
• Occupied zander during the conservation period 1 May to 30 June. SEK 5,000
• Fishing with more than 4 rods per boat when trolling. SEK 5,000

Rules of well-being

• Bysjön's FVOF works to improve fishing. By fishing responsibly, you as a fisherman can also make an important contribution to preserving our fish stocks.
• Carefully handle, with moistened hands, caught fish to be released.
• The public right gives us a unique opportunity to spend time in nature. But we must then take responsibility for both nature and wildlife around our lake.
• Show consideration for other visitors and landowners. For example, don't leave anything behind, but take all the rubbish home. In short, use common sense.
• Bysjön's FVOF has several supervisors. Follow all the rules and feel free to ask us for tips on fishing spots or nice swimming rocks when we see each other on the lake.
