The Mangevié

The fishing area around Ejheden has historically belonged to Korsnäs. When Ore FVOF was formed, Ejheden was excluded as recreation for Korsnäs staff.

In 2001, Korsnäs sold its forest holding to Sveaskog and thus Sveaskog became the sole landowner in the forests around Ejheden.

Fishing has been mentioned in the media since the beginning of the 20th century when tourists came to Ejheden to fish. Perch fishing has been Ejheden's big sign
