Uddevalla municipality has several miles of coastline towards the West Sea and a magnificent forest and land with rich elements of both large and small lakes and waterways.
Fishing has a long tradition in both salt and fresh water. The luck of catching fish varies, but usually depends on the person holding the rod!
All fishing in the "salt lake" and in Bjursjön is free of charge. For other lakes and waterways a fishing license is required.
