Do you want to become a member of Österåkers Sportfiske klubb? Österåkers Sportfiskeklubb started its operations on June 25, 1943, then under the name Österskärs fiskeklubb. We are one of the country's larger fishing clubs/associations with almost 600 members. The sportfishing club manages and supervises the municipality's fishing waters but also other leased water areas. ÖSFK is affiliated with "Sportfiskarnas Region mitt Stockholm" and "Sveriges Fiskevattenägareförbund". These organizations represent our members' interests and wishes in fishing matters towards the authorities. ÖSFK is a member of the Environmental and Climate Council (MKR) and the Sports and Outdoor Alliance (IFA) in Österåker municipality and protects the fish habitat and a sustainable and rewarding recreational fishing in the municipality. As a member of the fishing club, in addition to fishing with hand gear (fishing rods that are included in the free hand gear fishing), you can fish with longlines, nets and fishing gear for household needs, as well as rowing or trolling with a maximum of four rods using an electric motor, within the club's water areas in the archipelago. Membership gives you the right to buy fishing licenses at a reduced price in Drängsjön and also the opportunity to book member boats at no extra cost.
