"Plenty of small "bait fish" along the edges. Went east from the bridge and on the north side I had small pike (under a kilo) after my jig and also one on which jumped off when he got to the water's edge. They followed and chopped on a bronze-colored jig of ~ 10cm. Pretty careful. The perch loose with their absence. They seemed to be more active just before I went home and the wind calmed down around 18:30, which showed that the small fish were being chased."
