The 260-acres Lake Bodanäsasjön offers nice fishing for pike and perch. The normal weight for pike caught in the lake is around 3 kilos, but sometimes it happens that fish around 10 kilos are caught. The pike in the lake can be caught the whole year round, even if the fishing is at its best during spring and autumn.

It is a question of where and when. During spring and autumn it is possible to catch the fish in shallower water and close to the shore. In the summer the bigger fish stay in the deeper parts of the lake, entering shallow waters only in the morning and evening.
