In the Duved fishing area, fishing is permitted in the Indalsälven River and in the lakes Greningen, Moen and Långtjärn. Only trout are found in the river.
In flowing waters, fishing is prohibited from September 1 to October 15. The lakes, where fishing is only permitted in winter, have a good supply of both trout and char. The winter season extends between January 1 and April 31. The summer season, fishing is only permitted in the Indalsälven**,** May 1 to August 31. Fishermen who purchase an Annual Pass have the right to fish the Indalsälven River also during the off-season, October 15 and until May 1.
Fishing in the Indalsälven extends from a few hundred meters downstream of the Lövstaströmmen River and up to the outlet at the Lerån River near Duved Church. The fishing route is well-marked and you can find it easiest by walking along the marked paths from the Karolinermonumentet, Duvedsbyn, or the old fishing trail about 400 meters east of the Millestgården guesthouse. Follow the signs to the Karolinermonumentet fishing site. There is a parking lot at the Karolinermonumentet. You can also park along the old Duvedsvägen. There is a shelter with a simple campsite along the Karolinermonumentet fishing site. In the Duveds fishing area, fishing is allowed in the Indalsälven and in the lakes Greningen, Moen and Långtjärn. Fishing in the lakes is only allowed in winter.
Indalsälven: Partially good flowing water. Fishing allowed in summer between 1 May and 31 August.
Greningen: Good availability of trout and char. Fishing is only allowed in winter, 1 January to 31 April. In winter, you can get here by snowmobile or on skis.
Moen: Good access to trout and char. Fishing only allowed in winter, 1 January to 31 April. In winter you can get here by snowmobile or on skis.
