Åre Fiske Samfällighetsförening

 The fishing license applies to all the water except Gevsjöströmmen, Åtjärn and in the Tångböleströmmen. Some of the area's water may for some time be exempted from fishing due to fisheries conservation measures. Fishermen are required to keep informed about this.
• Fishing license applies to a hand tool.
• Allowable gear is fly, reel, spin or meteor, and single drag and pimp fish.
• At fly fishing, no more than three flies may be present. Fishing from a boat permits one draw per card. All fishing with net, "utterbräda" or comparable gear is prohibited.
• Children and adolescents up to 16 years old can fish for free with a fishing license for young people.
• Fishing license is personal and can not be transferred. Fishing licenses must be carried out for fishing and upon request shall be presented to the fish addict.
• A maximum of 7 fish may be caught per card / day. Minimum dimensions (length) are 30 cm. 

• Fishing is allowed only June 1st - August 31st. Other time fishing ban.
• During the period September 1 - April 30, total fishing bans are in the association's other flowing waters. By flowing water in Åreälven, the distance from the western fishing boundary (above Tegeforsen) is meant to a point 200 m east of Åreälven's outlet in Åresjön.
• In other waters, fishing prohibits 1 - 30 September. The exception Åresjön, where fishing is allowed all year.
