Nås FVOF offers free fishing for children and young people. Please read and follow the general fishing rules that apply for the area. Rules specifically for children and adolescents:
  • Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 14 years.
  • Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing permit (on their quota)
  • Valid only in certain waters or in certain places, see fishing rules / comment

About the water

Description

Within the area there are about 180 lakes and ponds of varying sizes and about 40 km of flowing water.

We have Bysjön, 3 km south of the town of Nås with very well-grown pike and perch. About 15 km south of Nås is Lindesnäs and the rainbow lake Dammen with good fishing. Västerdalälven flows through the town with good stream fishing and several calmer places for angling.

Föreningen planterar in öring i fyra sjöar/tjärnar en gång om året, samt vid behov i en ren regnbågsjö (Dammen) där fisk sätts i.
