Fishing methods

• It is not permitted to use stand hooks, Jaw Jackers or equivalent equipment from other manufacturers (rod holders with suspension) or pike scissors in our fishing waters.
• Sport fishing: Fishing from land/ice with a rod and a tackle/fisherman.
• Drag fishing: Fishing from a boat with a maximum of two gears.
• Trolling: Fishing from a boat with 3 to 8 tackle. Special "Trolling license" required.
• Angling / Ice fishing: Fishing from ice with a maximum of 10 tackle/rods per fisherman.
• Worm angling: Not allowed in Lumpån and Klubboån

Minimum/maximum dimensions

• All Trout in Svågan downstream of Brännåsdammen and in Dellensjöarna, minimum 45 cm, maximum 65 cm.
• All Grayling in all waters at least 35 cm.
• All other game fish at least 30 cm.
• A daily catch of 3 game fish may not be exceeded.
• Pike perch at least 45 cm / 3 fish per card

  A daily catch of 3 game fish may not be exceeded in our P&T waters, in other waters a maximum of 3 game fish/day.
  For trolling, you need an annual/day license and a trolling license.

  To go fishing in Dellensjöarna, you need 2 cards (annual card/day card/weekly card+net card).

  Children/young people fish for free up to and including the age of 16 when accompanied by a guardian/adult.

Trout ban applies in all flowing waters during September-December.

From May 1st to May 31st, grayling fishing is prohibited in all flowing waters.

Fly fishing

Sebberstjärn , Day card (00.00-23.59) quota fishing card via Ifiske. ONLY FLY FISHING only 5 cards/day. NOTE! 2 fish

In Lilla Råbergstjärnen, Älgetjärn and Tjärnvallstjärn only fly fishing is allowed. We would be grateful to receive catch reports from Lilla Råbergstjärnen so that we can follow developments there. Email: j.dolk@hotmail.com

Float fishing may be used in Stensjön (rainbow) and Renåstjärn (trout).

In Klubboån downstream of the railway bridge. Only fly rod and fly with single hook without barb. All fish are released.

Eco-fishing (catch and release)

• Parts of Svågan have been exempted from this fishing, which means that fishing may only be conducted with a fly rod and fly with a single hook without barbs.
• All grayling and trout caught in these stretches are released regardless of size . Other fish species may be retained.
• Only day passes during the period 1/6–15/9 daily from 05:00 to 24:00.
• Cards can be purchased for all three routes via IFiske.se and at Ängebo Livs for routes 1 and 2.
• Fishing license information is available at the beginning of the C&R stretch.

Other restrictions

All fishing is prohibited in the following waters:

– Olat iron
– Upper Järvåssjön
– The stream between Måndagstjärn and Bergtjärn
– Masungsbäcken Moviken
– Örvallssjöbäcken from the lake and 300m. downstream
– The Brickabækken stream from the power plant dam down to Svågan
– Gladbäcken downstream (former fish farm) to Svågan
– Dalån from lower Fläsmasjön down to Svågan
– Ramman (Västansjö) from Lake Ramsjösjön down to Dellen
– Stömmneån

Net fishing

Net fishing may be conducted in waters where net fishing is permitted according to the provisions below.

Only an annual pass together with a fishing pass entitles you to fishing. So two passes are required!

Fishing license holders with annual permits are allowed to set up to 6 nets or 180 meters of net length with a maximum depth of 6 feet.

For others with annual passes and net fishing permits, a maximum of 3 nets or 90 meters of net length and a maximum depth of the nets of 6 feet (1.83 m) apply.

Nets must be marked with the owner's name and address. Fishing rights owners must also indicate the property number.

Network restrictions apply in Dellensjöarna.

A total net ban applies within 200 meters of all inlets and outlets in the Dellensjöarna lakes.

In Norra Dellen at the mouth of Svågan, there is a total net ban from Sjövik out to Lövön, from Lövön across Storholmen and towards Avholm.

There is a total net and fly fishing ban in Lake Rångsjön!

Crayfishing

All crayfish fishing is reserved for fishing rights holders and is not available to the public!

Angling / Ice fishing

When angling and ice fishing, 10 rods/gear may be used per fishing license.

When organizing fishing/fishing competitions, the organizer may charge a fee for all competitors.

Overseers

We have about 20 trained supervisors who continuously conduct supervision. Fishing without a fishing license violates the law and this applies to ALL waters, even those that only contain e.g. pike and perch. You are responsible for finding out the applicable rules.
