Gippmokksjöarnas FVOF

As a fisherman, you are obliged to follow the fishing rules that apply where you are going to fish. In the waters that Gippmokksjöarnas Fiskevårdsområde leases for fishing, the following fishing regulations apply:

General rules.

• By sport fishing is meant hook fishing with a rod from hand or fishing with a haul for a boat
• The fishing license is personal and can not be transferred
• The fishing license must be carried during the fishing and presented on request for inspection.
• During the month of September, all fishing is prohibited at Gippmokksjöarna.

Inner Gippmokksjön:
Permitted fishing methods: Sport fishing (only)

Västra och Yttre Gippmokksjön:
Permitted fishing methods: Sport fishing, angling, nets

Information Fishing license incl. Net

• Landowners, people with a permanent connection to the village, and summer cottage owners, can redeem complete annual passes including net fishing.
• The minimum mesh size on the net is 5 rounds = 30 mm.
• Net fishing allowed only at the western & outer gippmoksjöarna.

Conservation zones for phishing at the following locations

• Sunn-Bron: 100 meters on each side of the bridge
• The outlet: 100 meters from the outlet and then downstream of the stream towards Kungavägen.
• Lindersbäcken: Marked with poles and sign.

Other rules regarding Gippmokksjöarna:

• Free fishing for all children and young people up to 16 years.
• For everyone's well-being, show respect to residents and cottage owners, do not leave fish remains behind.
