These local fishing regulations must be followed by law.
We have trained fishing inspectors to check fishing licenses and rule violations.
On Ö.Hedtjärn-Sottjärn, Tanstjärn, Ljustjärn and Gåltjärn a special fishing permit is required. - Tanstar: Max 10 cards/day. (00.00-24.00)
- Light Iron: Max 6 cards/day. (00.00-24.00)
- Galtjärn: Max 6 cards/day (00.00-24.00)
Rules that you must follow: - A maximum of 3 prize fish per day may be caught, applies to all cards.
- Fishing permits do not entitle you to crayfish fishing, special crayfish fishing permits must be purchased from Grangärde FVOF.
- Fishing gear must be kept under supervision while fishing is in progress.
- Bredtjärn-Lilla Ångtjärn-Femöringen-Hojensån-Norrboån are not open to public fishing.
- Fishing ban in Hojensån and Norrboån until further notice.
- In all running water, a barbless hook must be used.
- Trout fishing in running water is permitted from the ice breaking up until September 15. At other times, it is prohibited.
- Illegal fishing (poaching): All fishing without a valid fishing license will be reported to the police. We will confiscate all equipment used at the time, as well as a police report and claim for damages.
- Littering, police report according to the new law on littering.
- We reserve the right to confiscate fishing licenses and ban people from fishing in our lakes who do not follow our rules, severely disturb other fishermen, or otherwise behave inappropriately.
In case of violation of our local fishing regulations, we charge an inspection fee. The inspection fee is issued at the lake by a licensed fishing inspector. A tackled rod may be brought when fishing. Inspection fee 1,000 SEK If you catch more than 3 fish on your card in Ö.Hedtjärn, Sottjärn, Tanstjärn, Ljustjärn and Gåltjärn. Inspection fee 1,000 Sek. If you catch more than 3 game fish/day in any of the other game fish ponds. Inspection fee 1,000 Sek.
Kytjärn, Igeltjärn and Knivsjön may be closed for fishing in connection with rentals.
