Fishing is made available to the public through the sale of fishing licenses. Yellow day passes and green annual passes apply to the entire Stöde FVO. Red 24-hour/year cards are valid for fishing in "unplanted" waters only. Planted waters are Hammarsjön (9), and Skiftestjärn (21). The numbers in parentheses are the numbers they have on the map.
Fishing may be conducted with one rod per angler, brought by hand from land or ice. Boats may also be used in unplanted waters. Children under 12 fish for free in the company of a guardian. Youth discount of 50% is given for the age group 12-18 years.
It is forbidden to use fish roe for mashing or bait due to the risk of spreading disease. It is also forbidden to mash with corn, spaghetti or the like because it contains carbohydrates that the fish cannot assimilate, which causes constipation and mortality.
In the planted waters, 3 fish per day and cards apply.
