General provisions:

• The card only applies to fishing in the Hårkan water system and not in other waters belonging to the above fishery management areas.
• Fishermen should be aware of applicable laws and regulations as well as rules specifically issued by the FVO, as well as limits for the 5 different FVOs included, see below.
• Violation of the provisions stated will result in forfeiture of the fishing right and may lead to a requirement for an inspection fee or prosecution.
• Fishing may only be done with sport fishing gear, a maximum of one rod carried by hand per cardholder, thus not with long lines, pole hooks or nets.
• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
• The fishing license must be carried when fishing and presented to a fishing inspector upon request.
• Fishing by boat or other floating craft is only permitted in certain lakes, see the respective fishing management area.
• Fishing from a boat is not permitted in flowing water.
• Driving on existing forest roads is at your own risk.
• Snowmobile traffic is prohibited in areas with flat or young forests and arable land.
• KEEP NATURE CLEAN, TAKE YOUR GARBAGE HOME, PUT OUT ANY FIRE
• FISH FOR TODAY'S NEEDS AND NOT FOR TOMORROW

NOTE! During high water temperatures in the summer, fishing in the flowing waters of Hårkan may be closed to protect the fish and ensure their survival when released.
During longer warm periods - therefore check with the respective FVO where you intend to fish, about what applies.

Valsjöns FVO
Water included:
Rengen (on the Swedish side) - Minimum size trout 35 cm, allowed to fish from a boat
Rengströmmen - open 1/11-31/8
Valsjön - minimum size trout and grayling 40 cm, fishing from a boat is allowed
Toskströmmen - open 1/6-31/8, minimum dimensions Ø+H 40 cm, fishing with live bait (worm anemone) prohibited, bag limit 1 fish per fishing license and 24 hours. 1/7-31/7 only fly fishing.
Total fishing ban upstream of the bridge
Stor-Gruveln - Minimum size grayling and trout 35 cm, fishing from a boat is allowed
Part of Hotagssjön - fishing from a boat allowed
General rules:
Minimum size grayling and trout 25 cm unless otherwise stated.
Bag limit max 5 trout/fishing license and day unless otherwise stated
Fishing with live fish as bait is not permitted.
Free fishing for children and young people under 18 years of age

Föllinge Kirkkonummi FVO
Water included:
The area's part of Hårkan (Lövsjön - Lövsjöströmmen - Ockern down to Näsaforsen power plant) see map
You must always have a valid fishing license or fishing rights certificate (fishing rights holder) to be allowed to fish.
A mobile phone containing the confirmation code (iFiske's fishing license number) must be with you when fishing, or the fishing license can be printed on paper.

We apply an inspection fee that is charged for violations of the area's rules. The fee is 1200 SEK.
Fishing without a valid fishing license is always reported to the police.

Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 18 years of age, the area's rules also apply to young people.
You are also required to have become familiar with the applicable rules (below) for the water you are fishing in.
At the request of a fishing inspector, the fishing license/code must be presented without further notice.
Facilitate control by stopping fishing and removing the gear.

We should also remember that it is not a right, but a privilege to be able to fish and stay in our nature, and behave accordingly.
Also remember to protect the environment and take your trash home!

FOR THE LÖVSJÖSTROMMEN, THE FOLLOWING APPLIES:

• that all fishing with baited hooks is prohibited in Lövsjöströmmen.
• that for grayling, window withdrawals apply, only grayling in size 35-45 cm may be kept.
• that a total of a maximum of 3 grayling fish within the window outlet (35-45 cm) may be kept per day and fisherman. (3 fish and minimum size does not apply to whitefish)
• that all trout are protected and must be immediately released regardless of condition.
• that all fishermen are encouraged to fish with barbless hooks.
  Note: Only fishing license holders are allowed to drive down and use the road to the west side of Lövsjöströmmen. Driving along the road is at your own risk.

Sandviksjön Edsforsens FVO
Water included in the Hårkan card

* Edsforsen - NOTE! The eastern channel in Edsforsen is not open downstream from the northern tip of Storön.
* NOTE ! Fishing in Baksjön is not included in the Hårkan Card.

Hårkan - general rules for flowing water:
One rod carried by hand, max 3 hooks. Fishing with live bait not allowed.
Max 3 prize fish/day and card.
Window removal of grayling; Only sizes 35 - 45 cm may be taken and kept.
Ban on taking all wild trout with the adipose fin still attached - regardless of size . The ban applies for a five-year period (until 2029).
Trout that has had its adipose fins clipped may be kept.
Fishing from a boat or float ring is not permitted in flowing water.
Recommendation to use barbless hooks and to remove fish from the water.
Fishing ban: from September 1st – May 31st, with the exception of Edsforsen for grayling only during the month of September.
24-hour fishing passes for September fishing are sold only at www.ifiske.se / Sandviksjön Edsforsens FVO.
For good future fishing, we recommend that all larger grayling be released, as well as pike over 90 cm and perch over 45 cm.

Water included:
Hairy
Fishing permitted between 1/6-1/9 and only grayling fishing 1/9-30/9
Prohibited period for grayling 1/5-30/5 and trout 1/9-1/6
Minimum size 30 cm, applies to trout and grayling
Max 5 fish per fisherman per day, applies to trout and grayling
Max 1 rod brought from hand with max 3 hooks

Litsbygden's FVO
Water included: HÅRKAN
 Fishing licenses are personal. Violation of established rules gives the association the right to
charge a control fee of SEK 4,000 from the person who has violated the rules in accordance with the Act on
fishery conservation areas
 The area includes Hårkan from Högfors down to the Indalsälven.
 All wild trout caught in Hårkan must be released (with the adipose fin remaining)
 From September 1st to October 31st, only fly fishing for grayling is permitted during
that period of time
 A maximum of 3 fish, 35 - 45 cm (total grayling and farmed trout) may be kept /day
 All fishing with baited hooks is prohibited in the flowing parts of the Hårkan.
All fishing prohibited 50 m downstream from the dam in Högfors
Children under 16 years of age fish for free if a guardian has a valid card.
