Hedströmmen Bernshammar

To protect nature, fish and freshwater pearl mussels, we have the following rules of conduct:
• Fishing ban 1/10–31/12
• Catch & Release fishing only, all fish must be carefully released.
• Only traditional fly fishing is allowed (fly rod, fly reel, fly line, flies).
• Only barbless flies or barbed flies are allowed. (Jigs, "propeller flies", plastic balls, spinning flies, baited hooks, hooks with odorants are not allowed.) Applies to the entire route.
• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
• A valid fishing license must be presented upon request.
• Wading prohibited. Applies to the entire route.
• Mandatory use of landing nets with a fish-friendly net and a net.
• Tenkara is not allowed in this part of Hedströmmen.
• Vehicles may only be parked in the designated parking spaces.
• Tents, caravans and motorhomes are not permitted within the area or in the parking lots.
• Follow existing paths and instructions that are posted along the stream.
• Burning is only permitted in the prepared fireplaces at the wind shelters.
• In the event of littering or if the wading ban is ignored, supervisors have the right to immediately revoke the fishing license!
• Dogs must be on a leash.
