Generally:
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
Annual passes for youth can be issued up to and including the age of 17.
Children and young people up to the age of 15 are allowed to fish for free in the company of a guardian and only in the company of a guardian.
The guardian must then have obtained a valid fishing license.

Violation will be punished! / In case of violation of the association's rules, an inspection fee of SEK 2,500 will be imposed.
The cardholder must show consideration for other fishermen and good fishing ethics.

Fishing season: During the period 01/05 - 14/09, fishing is allowed in the entire river, during the period 1/11 - 31/12 only downstream from the E4 bridge
During the rest of the year, there is a total fishing ban in Hörnån.

Grayling fishing period: 1/6 - 14/09 & 1/11 - 31/12 other times fishing prohibited.
Methods:
Fishing with hand gear and only one rod per person and fishing license may be used.
Hook fishing is not allowed when fishing in Hörnån.

Maximum one trout between 50-60 cm per fisherman per day. All other trout must be released back into the water with the utmost care.
Salmon
Minimum size 50 cm. All other salmon must be returned to the water with the greatest care.
Max one salmon per fisherman per day.
Grayling
Minimum size 35 cm. All other grayling must be returned to the water with the greatest care.
Maximum 3 fish per angler per day.
Other species
