Fishing license and rules

For fishing, a valid fishing license/landowner's card is required and must be shown to the fishing inspector upon request.

The following rules apply to the entire area (except for the city lakes Brunnsjön and Hönsan):

Maximum catch: 2 Pike perch per day.
Pike perch with a length of less than 45 cm and over 70 cm are released.
Pike longer than 80 cm are released.

Max 2 rods per card and person.
Grappling hook is not allowed.

Angling for Pike with a traditional hook 15 don per card and person.
Ice fishing with three hooks 5 rods per card and person.

Maximum catch of trout 3 per day with a minimum length of 40 cm.

Children/young people fish for free up to and including the age of 17.

Brunnsjön:

Maximum catch of Pikeperch 1 per day.
Pike perch with a length of less than 45 cm and over 70 cm are released.
Pike are released

Max 2 rods per card and person.
Grappling hook is not allowed.

Prohibition against angling, ice fishing and the use of live transmitters/livescopes.

City Lake Hönsan:

In Lake Hönsan, Catch'n release applies to predatory fish such as Pike, Zander and Perch. This means that caught fish must be released back into the water. No fishing license is required in Hönsan, meaning fishing is free.

Fishing ban in Amungen, Flinesjön and Brunnsjön:

Applies to the entire lake including outlets marked with signs.

For Brunnsjön, the ban applies from 1/5 to 15/5.

For Amungen and Flinesjön the ban applies from 1/5 to 15/6.

The ban is in place during the pike-perch spawning period and is intended to promote our pike-perch populations in the lakes.

Fishing competitions

For fishing competitions: Permits for fishing competitions are only issued by the association's chairman, Andreas Hjertton 0738621608, who also issues the permit certificate.

Within your own shift, the following gear may be used. 2 nets (55-60mm net mascot), 2 Russians, 2 roach huts. Crayfish fishing may only be conducted during the period from August 1 to September 30. A maximum of 15 cages may be used, no cages may remain in the water between 10:00 and 17:00. The gear must be clearly marked with buoys that are marked with name, telephone number and property number.
