Fishing rules in Kalvsjön and the Svansjöarna lakes

• Fishing permitted only with rods and other hand tools.
  When trolling, otters or paravans are not allowed.
• When fishing in winter, a maximum of 5 rods/reel.
• Crayfish fishing prohibited.

The following fishing rules (minimum, maximum size and maximum harvest) apply:

• Pike perch: min 45 cm / max 65 cm,
  maximum 2 pieces per day/person
• Pike: min 40 cm / max 75 cm,
  maximum 2 pieces per day/person
• Perch: max 35 cm,
  maximum 10 pieces per day/person

To give the fish you put back a better chance of survival, you should:

1. Put the fish back in the air quickly, maximum 30 seconds. Preferably unhook in the water, otherwise hold the fish with support under the belly and always horizontally.
2. Use hook removers/pliers, underlay mats, nets and weighing bags.
3. Always wet your hands, as well as the net and substrate.
4. Do not fish deeper than 10 meters.
5. Reduce drilling time, don't have bent equipment.
6. Preferably use a barbless hook.
