Fishing in Lake Föllingesjön is included in the regular fishing license with the rules of a maximum of 3 fish (char/trout) that apply to waters with planted fish.
You must have purchased one of the regular fishing licenses for Föllinge Kyrkslätt FVO to fish in Lake Föllinge, regardless of whether you are fishing for char or not.
The Hårkan card is not valid for fishing in Lake Föllingesjön or other ponds with planted fish.
A net fishing ban applies until further notice throughout Lake Föllingesjön.
You must always have a valid fishing license or fishing rights certificate (fishing rights holder) to be allowed to fish.
A mobile phone containing the confirmation code (iFiske's fishing license number) must be with you when fishing, or the fishing license can be printed on paper.
We apply an inspection fee that is charged for violations of the area's rules. The fee is 1200 SEK.
Fishing without a valid fishing license is always reported to the police.
Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 18 years of age, the area's rules also apply to young people.
You are also required to have become familiar with the applicable rules (below) for the water you are fishing in.
At the request of a fishing inspector, the fishing license/code must be presented without further notice.
Facilitate control by stopping fishing and removing the gear.
We should also remember that it is not a right, but a privilege to be able to fish and stay in our nature, and behave accordingly.
Also remember to protect the environment and take your trash home!
FOR THE LÖVSJÖSTROMMEN, THE FOLLOWING APPLIES: - that all fishing with baited hooks is prohibited in Lövsjöströmmen.
- that for grayling, window withdrawals apply, only grayling in size 35-45 cm may be kept.
- that a total of a maximum of 3 grayling fish within the window outlet (35-45 cm) may be kept per day and fisherman. (3 fish and minimum size does not apply to whitefish)
- that all trout are protected and must be immediately released regardless of condition.
- that all fishermen are encouraged to fish with barbless hooks.
Note: Only fishing license holders are allowed to drive down and use the road to the west side of Lövsjöströmmen. Driving along the road is at your own risk.
NOTE! During high water temperatures in the summer, fishing in the flowing waters of Hårkan may be temporarily closed to protect the fish and ensure their survival when released. During longer periods of heat - therefore check with the respective FVO where you intend to fish, about what applies. FOR OTHER WATERS THE FOLLOWING APPLIES - that fishing with nets is only permitted in Lövsjön/Ockern, Lidsjön and Mellvattnet. In other waters within the area, net fishing is prohibited all year round.
- that all fishing with nets within the area of Hårkan (Lövsjön and Ockern) is prohibited from April 20 - May 20.
- that all nets placed on the association's waters must be marked with the owner's name and address.
- that all fishing with nets is prohibited within the area's part of Hårkan (Ockern etc.) during the period from the day of release and one month onwards.
(advertised locally in ÖP or LT and posted) - that fishing in Mörtsjön is exempt from the granting of the area and may only be used by the fishing rights holders within the Mörtsjön land division.
- that all directed fishing for trout in flowing water is prohibited between 1/9 and 31/5
- that all fishing in Håkatjärn, Furutjärn, Fisktjärnarna and Abborrtjärn is only permitted with a rod held in the hand, a maximum of 3 trout or char per day may be kept.
- that fishing for char in Lake Föllingesjön is only permitted with a rod held in the hand and a maximum of 3 char (as of 20260101) per day may be kept
