With the aim of protecting spawning fish, the fish are protected as follows:
Grayling is protected from April 15th to June 10th.
Trout are protected in running water from 1 September to 14 October.
Methods:
Special rules and catch restrictions apply when trolling .
Fishing with deep rigs and side-paravanes is permitted in Storsjön.
Fishing is allowed with a maximum of 3 rods per fisherman and 1 bait per rod.
A maximum of 6 rods per boat is allowed.
The catch limit is set at 3 fish (Canadian trout, char, grayling) per fisherman per day.
Catch restrictions:
Min. dimensions: Trout between 30 cm and 45 cm may be kept when fishing (running water), trout (lake) , char and grayling min 35 cm, salmon min 50 cm.
Catch limit: Max 5 fish per fisherman per day. (Ex. 2 grayling + 1 trout + 2 char = 5)
In running water, only one trout per day may be kept per angler.
Note, Running water is the Lina River with tributaries of mkjf leased water.

Re-release Handle the fish carefully, preferably unhook in the water, avoid long air time

Other Fishing license must always be displayed. Do not leave any equipment or trash in nature!

To keep in mind for good fish care, the pike's minimum size should be 45 cm (maximum size 75 cm), only fish between 45–75 cm may be taken. Perch ≥ 38 cm should be released.
