Nedre Frykens FVO

Rules

Fishing with fishing rod, spinning, ice and trolling. Fishing permits are personal. Children under 16 years old are free.
Fishing ban in Pickerudsbäcken from Örnäs to the outlet in Fryken, at southern Välsäter. Also fishing ban 100 m above and below Frykforsdammen and Edsvalladammen.

Minimum size for all fishing: Trout, pike-perch and salmon 50 cm. Max 3 fish per card per day.

Zander ban from May 15 to June 15, also for fishing rights holders.

Inspection fee: When fishing, the paid fishing license fee must always be presented. Inspection fee, 500 SEK at
hand tools and 1500 SEK when trolling, may be charged if the fee paid cannot be proven.

Fishing rights holder:
Fishing rights certificate for fishing rights owners 50 SEK/year.
Max 3 nets, max 90 m length and 180 cm height.
Smelt nets with a maximum length of 90 m and a height of 180 cm may be used during October and November.

A bait net maximum 10 meters long and 1.2 m deep, maximum mesh size 10 mm, only bottom nets may be used.
Only bottom nets may be used.
All nets must be well marked with buoys at each end as well as property designation, name and telephone number.

Net ban from May 15 to October 17 along a line from Hannäsudden to Kattnäsviken and down
to Rudsbron, as well as from the pier in Fryksta and a line to Äng.
Total net ban in Norsälven from Rudsbron to the highway in Edsvalla as well as Pickerudsbäcken and a
area of 200 m around its mouth.

Russian fishing is prohibited.

For an issued fishing permit, fishing may be conducted not only by the holder but also by the holder's
spouse, cohabitant and children living at home.

Total crayfish fishing ban.
