Rules for fishing in Rätan's fishing conservation area association:

• Fishing license holders are allowed to fish within the area marked on the map with hand gear.
• Fishing licenses are personal, fishing takes place with a maximum of 1 fishing license / person and must be carried and shown to the supervisor upon request.
• Children up to and including the year they turn 16 fish for free (does not apply to Stortjärn put and take)
• Subsidized annual passes can be purchased by permanent residents within Rätans FVO.
• Fee of SEK 2,000 for a verified violation.
• Hand tools, applies to a maximum of 3 hooks/rod.
• Trolling fishing is not permitted.
• Fishing with pike hooks, pole hooks, bream and bream is prohibited within Rätans FVO.
• Net fishing is prohibited in all waters during the period 1/9 - 31/10.
• Net fishing is permitted at other times only for fishing rights holders within Rätans FVO. Max. 3 nets marked with name and phone number.
• Net fishing not permitted in flowing water.
• Net fishing is not permitted closer than 300m from the lake's inlet or outlet.
• Fishing for trout during the spawning season is prohibited in flowing waters from 1/9-31/10.
• Fishing ban on grayling during the spawning period in flowing water 15/4-31/5.
• Fishing ban on char during the spawning period 15/11-15/1.
• Minimum size for grayling and trout 30cm.
• Minimum size for char 25cm.
• For fishing in Stortjärn, put and take applies, maximum 3 fish per card per day. On the fishing premiere day, a separate fishing card applies, which is purchased on site. On the premiere days, it is possible to purchase more than 1 fishing card per person.

Fishing ban in Mullbergstjärn. Valid until further notice due to fish conservation efforts!

For fishing in Stortjärn a separate fishing license is required, max 3 fish per license. Possibility to buy more than 1 fishing license per person in put and take.
