Rules 2026

Members fish for free (upon presentation of membership card) except in rainbow water and during the carp season (1/3 - 30/11) in Färgsjön.
In the rainbow lakes it is cheaper for members than for others. In Färgsjön only members are allowed to fish for carp, according to special rules. Read more on the website https://www.sfk-kroken.se/
Fishing ban during October 5-15, due to moose hunting. No flowing waters included. Boat motors are prohibited in Välen and Färgsjön.
Children up to 11 years of age fish with a guardian's fishing license in rainbow lakes. In other lakes, children up to 15 years of age apply.
Catch restrictions in Stora Hammarsjöns FVO: Trout under 50 cm, Perch over 35 cm and pike over 80 cm must be released. A maximum of 2 pikes and 10 perches per day may be kept. In winter, the fishing license is also valid for a maximum of 5 fishing tackle with a single hook for fishing from ice. When ice fishing, a maximum of 5 rods are allowed. When fishing for rainbow trout, 2 fish per day license applies. When 2 fish have been killed, fishing must be stopped or a new license must be issued!

C & R for rainbow trout fishing is only permitted when spinning and fly fishing with barbless single hooks. Fish that are to be released must be handled with care and should not be lifted out of the water.

In the rainbow lakes there is no restriction on pike.

Catch restrictions in Hulingens FVO: Perch over 35 cm and pike over 80 cm must be released. A maximum of 2 pikes and 10 perches per day may be kept. When trolling and trawling from a boat, a maximum of four rods per boat is permitted. The maximum permitted speed is 5 knots. In winter, the fishing license is also valid for a maximum of five fishing rods with a single hook. When ice fishing, a maximum of five rods are permitted. From 1/4 - 31/7, entry into the bird protection area is prohibited.

The use of hook and lip-grip is prohibited in all SFK-Kroken waters!
