Sidlångens FVOF

To promote sustainable use of fishing, facilitate fishing supervision and increase enjoyment when you visit our fishing waters, the fisheries management area has decided on certain rules that must be followed when fishing.

The following rules apply when fishing within the Sidlången fishing conservation area.

• Only pikes within the length range of 50 – 80 cm may be caught and kept.
Other pikes should be gently returned to the lake.
• Only pike-perch over 50 cm may be caught.
Pike perch caught during the spawning period from April 15 to May 31 must be gently returned to the lake.
• Trolling fishing may only be carried out using a trolling boat or electric motor. A maximum of 2 rods per fishing license may be used.
