Kalmar Sport Fishing Club runs Snärjebäcken's fishing waters on a voluntary basis. Rainbow trout are planted there for most of the year. Snärjebäcken offers both calm and flowing water.
Regardless of whether you are an inexperienced or experienced fisherman, the area offers a variety of challenges. The approximately 400 meter upper stretch is a flowing stretch for fly fishing for much of the year. The entire stretch has open and accessible terrain.
When it is time for a short break from fishing, you have access to three barbecue areas, where you can meet other fishermen and exchange experiences. At the large barbecue area there is a shelter from the wind, where you can rest, grill and meet other fishermen. But don't stay too long, the barbecue area is not just a place to relax. A lot of rainbow trout are often caught around the barbecue area.
