The rules for granting recreational fishing are as follows:

The fishing license is personal but also applies to accompanying spouse/partner and entitles to fishing for own use with hand gear, however with a maximum of one rod or line per fishing (hook fishing with rod from hand or fishing with line from boat).

In other cases, only one rod or lure per fishing license applies. (The angler who wishes to use several rods can buy more fishing licenses to the extent necessary, the catch limit per fishing license also applies, i.e. more fish may be kept to the extent that the number of fishing licenses allows).

Children under 15 fish freely with hand gear with the same regulations.

Fishing license and identification must always be carried when fishing and presented at the request of a fishing supervisor, fishing right owner or other angler.

If more rods per fishing are to be used, extra fishing licenses must be redeemed.

The card does not grant the right to crayfish fishing.

Minimum size for zander is 50 cm, a maximum of three zander per day and fishing license may be kept. Excess or too small pikeperch must always be re-released immediately.

During the period 1/8 – 15/9, fishing is not permitted at night between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
