Crayfish fishing in 2026.
Trångforsen's fishing area association TFVO opens up crayfish fishing for the public and crayfish fishing owners in the Lule River between Vittjärv and Boden power plants.
 Fishing will be carried out starting Thu. 13 Aug at 6:00 PM and will continue until Sat. 15 Aug at 10:00 AM. Max. 70 cards for sale, price 500 SEK/card and max. 5 cages/fishing card. Fishing cards can be purchased via Ifiske.se on Aug. 13. Fishing rights holders do not pay a fee. Boats and cages must be disinfected by authorized personnel. This will be carried out on two occasions in the large parking lot of Heden's Olympia football field starting Thu. 13 Aug at 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and 4:00 PM-5:30 PM. General regulations for crayfish fishing in Trångforsen's fishing conservation area To avoid the spread of crayfish plague, everyone is responsible for following the directive from the County Administrative Board "Do not spread crayfish plague". See attached appendix. Marking of fishing gear The cages are equipped and marked with floats and pegs. A tag is provided free of charge with information about the name and telephone number of the person who paid for the crayfish fishing card. Equipment is obtained in connection with the clean-up at Olympia in Heden. Unmarked cages are considered poaching and will be taken into custody. Bait and bait Crayfish bait is provided free of charge and is available in connection with the clean-up at Olympia in Heden. Control and report on the number of crayfish For crayfish, the minimum size is 10 cm measured from the tip of the forehead to the tip of the tail. Crayfish under 10 cm must be immediately released. In order to obtain information about access and size, and other information that forms the basis for developing crayfish fishing, all fishermen are required to report the number of crayfish, no later than 20 August. The number of crayfish is reported to Ifiske.se. There will be a raffle for 2 prizes of SEK 500 among the crayfish fishing participants who have submitted a crayfish fishing report according to the time specified above. The water haul will be controlled and monitored by certified fishing inspectors. Special provisions for fishing rights holders who own fishing rights in TFVO waterways. Free crayfish fishing in TFVO waters in Boden Thu. 13 Aug at 6:00 PM - 15 Aug at 10:00 AM and a maximum of 5 cages/fishing rights holder. All cages must be disinfected, but not for boats that are permanently in TFVO waterways and that have not been in other waters since the previous year. Only animal bait/bait from the same waterway/reservoir is allowed. Fishing poles are marked with the property name and telephone number.
