The following rules apply to fishing in Lake Vällsjön.

• Fishing with hand gear (not otters) and 8 anglers allowed.
• (Minimum size of salmon-type fish 35cm).
• Max. 1 species of salmon per card and day.
• Fishing from a boat and trolling is permitted (Fishing from a motorboat prohibited).
• Crab fishing prohibited.
• Fishing may not take place at bathing areas during bathing season.
• Vacant or cultivated land may not be entered. Burning only in designated places.
• Show consideration, respect the road signs, the anglers' ethical rules apply.
• There is an obligation to present catch, gear, bags and the like as well as a fishing license when requested by the police or fishing inspector,
• Children and Youth: Free fishing up to and including 12 years. Hand tools only. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license (on their quota). The guardian must have taken note of and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.
