Tjärnen is located very beautifully, about 500 m north of the center of Åre Björnen and with a magnificent view of Åreskutan.

Barbecue areas and shelters are located at the lake on the east side along the old road.

The Åre bear's cross-country skiing trails are laid around the pond.

Fishing licenses are sold via iFiske, but also at ICA Björnänge and by Arild Fröseth in Svedje (Björnänge Lodge).
