Fishing begins downstream of the protected area at Dejeforsen power plant about 3 km downstream to Torptjärnsbäcken. See map. The area consists mostly of flowing water. Land fishing can be done in the upper part on both sides of the river. Salmon and trout are raised during the summer period at the breeding fishery in Forshaga, which provides good fishing opportunities in Dejeforsen. Pike, perch and plenty of whitefish are available. Fishing permits are available for purchase as day permits and annual permits. Catch limits are in the rules and catch reports are gratefully received via iFiske.
