Arjeplogströmmarnas FVOF

All fishing requires a fishing license/fishing permit.

PREMIERE: Every year the fishing premiere takes place on 6/6 at 1:00 PM. In collaboration with Arjeplogs Brukshundsklubb, we offer activities and coffee in Tjärdnas from 3:00 PM. The fishing season ends on 31/8 at 12:00 PM.

FISHING BAN: There is a strict fishing ban at the inlet and outlet of the Power Plants - RISK AREA. Furthermore, there is a fishing ban in the ENTIRE Kvarnströmmen stream and from all dams in the area.

FISHING PROHIBITION FROM BOAT: It is not allowed to fish from a boat in Hemströmmen and Tjärdnas strömmen. SEE MAP!!

PROVISIONS:

• BAG LIMIT: A maximum of 1 trout/day and a maximum of 3 grayling/day may be taken from our waters on each fishing license! We have a minimum size of 30 cm for trout.
• Fishing with an otter board is prohibited. It is also not permitted to use a casting or drag line that has more than three hooks.
• MASK BAN!!
• Fishing with LIVESCOPE or similar equipment is PROHIBITED!!
• NOTE: A map with associated fishing regulations must accompany the fishing license! If no physical document is included, the fishing license holder must be able to demonstrate that he or she knows where regulations and maps in digital form are available.

FISHING LICENSE:

• Also applies to accompanying children under 16 years of age.
• Fishing licenses must be presented upon request. Missing fishing licenses will be reported and any fishing equipment will be confiscated.
• Fishing permits can be purchased at www. ifiske.se and at the following sales points in Arjeplog: GKs fiske, Silvermuseet/Turistbyrån. OK/Q8 and Kraja AB. At our retailers you can also get good information about our waters as well as maps and information sheets.

Fishing license/annual license for registered fishermen in Arjeplog. This fishing license costs 750 SEK and can only be purchased at GK's fishing and the Silver Museum/Tourist Office.

You can also buy a net/net add-on for this card. You can buy an add-on for a maximum of 3 nets or nets (hereinafter referred to as a unit) per card. When fishing with a net, the total length may not exceed 90 meters. Each unit MUST be clearly marked with your name, telephone number and fishing license number! Unmarked units will be confiscated!

Fishing with nets is allowed no earlier than two weeks after the fishing season opens and no later than September 15th. Please note that large parts of our fishing area are subject to a ban on net and gillnet fishing. See map at www.arjeplogstrommarna.se or pick up a map from our local retailers.

FINE/FINAL: If you violate our fishing regulations, you can be fined SEK 4,000. Fines must be paid directly on site upon request from a fishing inspector!
