In Klintforsån you can fish with fly and spin.
Only single hooks may be used.
Only artificial baits may be used.
- All types of fishing with worms, bait, power bait and the like are prohibited!
NOTE! Fishing ban from 1/5 to 31/5 (greyling spawning period) and from 15/9 to 14/10 (trout spawning period).
A total fishing ban applies in the upper part of the Klinforsån, on the stretch between the dam in Stortjärn and the road across the river in Strömfors. The stretch constitutes a nursery area and a "nursery" for grayling and trout, and electrofishing after the restoration shows that the amount of small fish has increased significantly. By having a fishing ban here, we give these species the opportunity to strengthen the fish population in the entire river. All grayling and trout will be released.
Saunaträsket, Stortjärnen, Lapptjärnen, Bränntjärn, Elistjärnarna, Lomtjärnarna, Klockträsket, Hedträsket, Bergtjärnen and Vänträsket.
In the lakes you can fish with any number of rods.
All types of bait are allowed, including angling.
There is no limit to how many fish you can keep, but we are happy if you release the largest specimens as they are important for the stock.
There are no curfews here.
We hope that you will release the larger specimens. This also applies to pike and perch, as they are needed for a good balance in the waters.
They are also incredibly important for maintaining a good and vibrant population of fish in the waters.
