Bodens lax och Öringsfiske

Generally:
At the request of a fishing guard or staff from Bodens Lax & Öringsfiske, there is an obligation to show fishing gear, catch and fishing license along with identification. Children under 15 years of age fish for free together with a guardian. Mandatory catch reporting via iFISKE!
Methods:
A fishing rod for spinning, reeling or fly fishing. Bottom fishing is only allowed during winter. At other times, spinning fishing has priority.
Jerk fishing is prohibited.
Hook size: Single hook max 13 mm Double hook max 9 mm. Triple hook lures and wobblers max 9 mm, dimensions refer to hook gap. Triple hook tube fly, jig, spinner and similar max size 6.
Hook and sinker must not be tied to the same hook/line, hook and sinker must have separate hooks/line.
A maximum of one hook may be attached to a line/rope.
Fishing from a boat is not permitted.
Catch restrictions:
Minimum dimensions: Salmon 50 cm Trout 40 cm Grayling 30 cm

The minimum measurement is the distance from the tip of the nose to the outermost tip of the tail fin.

Fish under the minimum size must be released dead or alive.
Do not catch more fish than you eat, it is forbidden to sell fish caught on Boden's Salmon & Trout fishing waters.

Other rules:
When there is heavy fishing pressure, rolling fishing is recommended so that all fishermen have a chance to try fishing at the popular fishing routes.
Before you start fishing, you should make sure that your own fishing gear does not become entangled with or damage other people's gear.
When changing sinkers or bait, you should leave your spot by the river so that other fishermen also have the chance to find a nice spot.
Show consideration for landowners and plot owners, park vehicles in designated parking spaces.
Clean up after yourself at the shelter and the beach, leave garbage in the designated place. Clean fish at the cleaning area (by the toilet above the suspension bridge), put fish cleaning in the compost container.
Prohibited from consuming alcohol.
Handicapped parking and fishing area are intended primarily for people with disabilities.
Boden's Salmon & Trout Fishing Supervision Policy.
The company's primary task in supervision is to serve and help fishing guests.
Fishing guests who violate the company's rules risk being evicted for the day or banned from fishing.
Fishing guests who repeatedly violate the rules or those who have committed a serious violation will be suspended with immediate effect. The length of the suspension will be decided by the company.
If the company's staff or supervisors are subjected to threats or harassment by a fishing guest, the person concerned must of course be suspended and a police report must be made. In the case of fishing without a fishing license, a police report must be made.
The above disciplinary measures may be taken without any violation being observed by the company's staff or supervisors. The action may be prompted by, for example, complaints or reports from other guests.
Eviction can be decided directly by the supervisor. Suspension is decided by those responsible at Bodens lax & Öringsfiske. Fishing guests who have been evicted or suspended several times risk being suspended from fishing for a very long time.
