Our fishing rules- The fishing license is personal and entitles you to fish with hand gear (fishing rod, casting rod, fly rod).
- 1 rod per person/fishing license (except trolling & ice fishing).
- Maximum four rods per boat when trolling, regardless of the number of people.
- When trolling, only rod reels may be used.
- When ice fishing, a maximum of four rods per person/fishing license applies.
- It is not permitted to use bait fish caught in other lakes or streams.
- Zander fishing is prohibited from April 1 to June 15 in the entire lake. Any zander that comes up during this time in connection with fishing for another species must be quickly released.
- Crayfish fishing is prohibited.
- Live scanners and all types of devices such as livescope, activetarget, megalive, etc. are prohibited from use. Live transducers may also not be mounted or carried on the boat.
- Children/youth up to 16 years of age fish for free.
- Fishing without a fishing license will be immediately reported to the police and may result in the equipment being confiscated.
Size requirements for fish that may be caught- Pike perch 40 cm to 60 cm (protected from April 1 to June 15) max 2 per day and fishing license.
- Pike: 0 cm to 80 cm.
- Perch 0 cm to 40 cm
- Fish outside the collection windows must be released regardless of condition.
Inspection fees- Fish caught outside the max/min dimensions. SEK 2000 per fish.
- Caught pike perch during the conservation period 1 April - 15 June. 5000 SEK
- More than 4 rods when trolling 4000 SEK
- Use of live scanners or mounted/carried live transducer in boat. 5000 SEK
Fishing inspectors conduct regular checks of fishing licenses and catches. Violation of the rules may result in an inspection fee / police report.
