Rules for pond fishing (Put and take): - For pond fishing, maximum 3 fish/day, minimum length 35cm.
- Konsttjärnen has a fishing ban from 1 September until the premiere on the first Saturday after the New Year!
- Åstjärnen has a fishing ban from 1 October until the ice melts. 15 November at the earliest.
Rules for stream fishing Gimån : - Permitted fishing for stream fishing licenses applies from 1 June to 1 September.
- When stream fishing, maximum 3 noble fish/day.
- Grayling minimum length 35cm trout 40cm.
- In the current, fishing with float rings or boats is prohibited.
- In the current, Mask and treble hook are prohibited.
- Fish that do not meet the minimum standards must be carefully released again.
Rules for sea fishing in Sörbygden's FVOF - For lake fishing there are 3 types of card. 24-hour card, 24-hour family card, and weekly family card.
- The card is valid for fishing from land, ice or boat. The stretch from Strandåkerbron to 200 meters above the bridges in Båthällströmmen.
- All fish except Whitefish and Eel may be caught, small fish (not edible) are returned.
- The fishing license is valid for fishing with hand gear, net fishing is not permitted.
- For Trolling fishing with a maximum of 5 rods, a special card applies. Trolling card.
- In Gimån there is a fragile stock of crayfish! It is therefore particularly important not to use equipment or boats that have not been disinfected or dried for at least 3 days, if the equipment has been used in other waters.
Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 15 years of age.
