For all types of fishing, a valid fishing license or proof of a purchased fishing license must be brought with you.

Summer fishing

• Fishing with hand gear is permitted all year round. Exception for the month of August, when fishing and use of rental boats is only permitted between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This is to avoid disturbing the water owners' crayfish fishing.
• In the lake, it is prohibited to drive motorboats at a speed higher than 5 knots. In the bird protection areas, motorboat traffic is prohibited according to the decision of the County Administrative Board.
• Trolling fishing from a boat may only be done with hand power (rowing) or an electric motor.
• Boats are available for rent in Kramsäng, cost 200 SEK per occasion. Contact person, Bo Thulin 076-1361627.

Winter fishing

• When the ice has settled, fishing is permitted with ice rods and ice fishing rods.
• If you have purchased an annual pass, you can also fish with a fishing rod.
• Young people under 18 years of age fish for free, but must register at one of the fishing license vendors.
• For everyone's well-being, keep the lake and surroundings clean and tidy, clean the boats after use, etc.
• Violations of applicable regulations will be prosecuted. In the event of a violation, a control fee may be charged in accordance with the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act (1981:533).
• Fishing without a valid fishing license is illegal and a violation of the Fisheries Act (1993:787).
• Fishing inspectors have the right to confiscate any equipment used and fishing without a permit may result in a police report.
