- Fishing is permitted with 2 baits/boat without a deep rig (simple trolling), or simple hand gear fishing (pipper, angling, spinner and reel). Applies to the entire area except in running water.
- A maximum of 2 salmon/trout, which meet the applicable minimum size, may be caught per boat and calendar day. Other species unlimited.
- Sledges or surface screens may not be used.
- Not allowed to use bait fish, dead or alive, from other waters.
- Minimum size of salmon, char and trout: 60 centimetres.
- Trolling ban 1 September - 31 December.
- Trout are completely peaceful during the same period, 1 September - 31 December.
- Fishing ban within the protected zones outside Åsebyälven and Sandaälven from 1 September to 15 November. See maps.
- Fishing is prohibited in running water.
- A valid fishing license must be carried when fishing and must be shown to the fishing supervisor on request.
- Annual passes are valid from date to date.
- Young people up to and including 16 years of age fish freely with hand gear
