Klarälven inom Munkfors kommun

The fishing license entitles you to fishing with hand gear and trolling/harling in the Klarälven River. Nature ramps are available at the wind shelter downstream of Martängen, and upstream of Hästskoholmen at the mobile home parking lot.

Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 14 years . NOTE! Does not apply to Spraktjärn put-and-take lake. Young people may fish on a guardian's card, however, a maximum of 3 Rainbow trout may be caught in total/card. Only 1 fishing license may be purchased per date.

NOTE! When catching salmon and trout in the Klarälven River, over 50 cm, only farmed fish may be kept, i.e. fin-clipped fish, fish without adipose fin.

Trout and salmon over 50 cm with an adipose fin must be immediately released even if the fish is injured.

Trout under 50 cm with an adipose fin are stationary and may be kept.
