Mellansjön Värmdö

RULES:
A maximum of 2 salmonids per card and 24 hours may be kept. When two salmonids have been killed, the fishing card is not valid and a new fishing card is required, but then only C&R applies.

NOTE: The fishing license is only valid in Lake Mellansjön.
The card is valid for one adult and one's own children under 16 years of age.
Parking must be done in the designated spot on the hill by the lake and not at the lake or the nearby meeting point.
The fishing license must be shown on the phone during inspection as a text message or email, or you can print it out and take it with you when fishing. Please note that subsequent purchases during inspection do not count as approved purchases of a fishing license.
Violating applicable regulations may result in immediate forfeiture of fishing rights and banning from the lake.
Fishing supervision/Fishing license control
Fishing inspectors from Sportfiskarna regularly carry out fishing license checks, where you must be able to show that a valid fishing license has been issued. A valid ID document must be presented upon request.
Violations of current fishing regulations may result in suspension from all fishing in Lake Mellansjön, a report, and the seizure of any catch and fishing equipment, which will be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.

Methods:
Only fishing with ONE ROD per person and fishing license.
Spinning, angling, and fly fishing are permitted methods in the lake in open water.
Fishing with live bait fish or so-called powerbait is prohibited.
Fishing from shore, your own float ring or a boat rented from Ifiske is allowed.
Echo sounder is not allowed.
Other vessels are not permitted when fishing, nor is the use of a motor permitted.

Other rules:
Fires should only be lit in prepared fire areas, and respect the authorities' fire bans in the event of a fire hazard.
All littering is prohibited.
Throwing cigarette butts or other litter can lead to revocation of fishing license and suspension.
