MESSLINGENS FVOF FISHING RULES

• Fishing ban from 1/9 to 31/10, all fishing is prohibited in flowing water, as well as in seals and lakes that are connected to the above-mentioned prohibited areas within a distance of 200m from to and outlet. Only allowed to fish in Messlingssjön, during the same period, except for protected areas of 200m outside to and outlet.
• In Mittån downstream of the lake, ALL fishing is PROTECTED from the lake about 500m down to the first calm water "lillhån".
• Signs are posted.
• When fishing, a connected dog may be included.
• Fishing, net laying, fishing rods etc. are prohibited. (But allowed for landowners with fishing rights).
• Long stretches are allowed.
• By sport fishing is meant hook fishing with ONE rod brought from hand. Only ONE rod per card and fisherman (max. 3 hooks, hangers).
• Live fish may not be used as bait.
• The card is personal and may not be transferred, with the exception of annual cards that apply to spouse, spouse and cohabitant. (Make a copy or take a photo of the fishing license for everyone who can show a card at check-in).
• Minimum size trout and char 25cm.
• Lake and brook trout should not be re-released.
• In the event of a violation, a control fee of SEK 2,000 is charged.
• Fishing without a valid permit is reported to the police. Guards are available.
• All children / young people up to the age of 15 fish for free.
