Please note that not all water areas in Övertorneå municipality are included in the fishing license (2 shifts), see the map and respect this! The lake is big enough to find your own fishing spot!
At the far end of the headland, where the road ends, there is a launch site at the end of the road, we currently recommend 4wd cars for heavier boats. Park up at the turntable, back out as far as possible on the edge of the road, so that other vehicles can turn and more people can park. The association intends to improve the launching possibilities. Alternative launch site for those of you with light boats, before the drag dogs, where you can see the North Sea very close on the left side.
Keep in mind that there may be poor mobile coverage in the area, so please buy your fishing license in advance.

Miekojärvi Samfällighetsförening offers free fishing for young anglers. Please read and following the general fishing rules that apply for the area. Rules specifically for children and adolescents: Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 16. Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota) Only hand held equipment The keeper must have taken note of and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.
