At the far end of the headland, where the road ends, there is a launching place at the end of the road, we currently recommend 4wd cars for heavier boats. Park at the turntable, back out as far as possible at the roadside, so that other vehicles can turn and more people can park.

Miekojärvi Samfällighetsförening offers free fishing for young anglers. Please read and following the general fishing rules that apply for the area. Rules specifically for children and adolescents:
Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota)
Only hand held equipment
The keeper must have taken note of and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.
