Nysockensjöns FVOF

- The waters of Nysockensjön FVOF include Nysockensjön, Kroppstadsälven, Vaggeälven, Jösseälven, Kolsjön and Asksjön and part of Kolsjön.
- The fishing license is personal and is valid for personal use only. Must be presented upon inspection.
- All caught fish for own household use only.

The fishing license allows
- Fishing with only hand gear: Fishing rod, casting rod, fly rod, ice rod, fishing pole and slosh net with 1 gear/card .,
- Ice fishing with a maximum of 5 rods/card , possibly bait fish only from FVOF waters.

- Trolling/trawling with a maximum of 2 rods/lures per fishing license, however, a maximum of 4 rods/lures per boat, regardless of the number of people and fishing license.

- Rods and deep rigs may be used, however with a maximum number of rods/lures according to the rules for trolling/drag rowing.

- Sonar with simple fish ID, for depth measurement may be used.

- No fishing within 50m of buoy/float marked fishing gear

The fishing license does not allow
- Use of LiveScanners and all types of devices such as LiveScope, Active Target, MegaLive, etc. is prohibited to use and carry on the boat.
- Fishing.
- Crayfish fishing.

Minimum dimensions and restrictions
Zander : Zander fishing ban from April 1st until the day before Midsummer Eve, applies to the entire FVOF area.
Allowed catch max 2 pike perch/card, and day.

Minimum size pike perch 45 cm

Fishing license
Day pass. Weekly pass. Annual pass.
Children under 16 fish for free.

Fishing supervision and inspection fee
On-site fishing inspectors check that fishing regulations and laws are followed.
Violation of local fishing regulations is punishable by a control fee according to Section 33 of the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act.

Control fees:

Caught pike-perch under the minimum size SEK 2000 per fish.

Caught pike-perch during the conservation period SEK 5,000 per fish.

More rods/bait than the fishing license allows 2000 SEK.

Use of LiveScanners 5000 SEK.
Violations of fisheries legislation are reported and result in liability in court.
Equipment may be confiscated.
Violations of fisheries legislation are reported and result in liability before the court.
