Övre Ångermanälven KFO

The area is open for sport fishing. A fishing license entitles you to fish with a fly rod and spinning rod, also from a boat. Abborrsjön minimum size trout & char 30 cm. Nalkastjärn minimum size trout 30 cm - 3 fish / card and 24 hours. Ångermanälven minimum size Grayling 30 cm - 3 fish / card and 24 hours. Ångermanälven minimum size trout 45 cm - 3 fish / card and 24 hours.

Special stretch from approximately 250 meters downstream of Stenkulla power station and down to the outlet of Torvsjöån applies with a maximum of 1 trout/day & card and a total of 2 trout per year and fishermen are allowed to kill them.

The trout caught must be between 55-75cm. Anything over and under this size must be released.
Fish (all trout) that are caught must be reported. At Börtingsvängen's grill hut there is a report to fill out or text/call fiskelars 070-647 54 72 or via email - fiskelars@fiskelars.se.
Fishing ban on Trout ( all trout must be released during this time ) between September 15th – last October ( Spawning time for Trout )
Fishing is done with a rod from shore.
Fishing with live bait fish prohibited.
