Fishing rules for:
Resort card, annual card, 2-week card and day card.
The fishing year is valid from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. This fishing license entitles you to fish with hand gear and trolling with a maximum of two rods within the entire area. Young people fish freely up to the age of 16, with the following exceptions:
Mlögtjärn and the Fryken card. Be careful with small fish and return them carefully with a wet hand if the fish is not to be consumed.
Fishing rights holders are also entitled to fish with a 60 m net and 1 rudder within their own waters. All fishing with nets and rudders is prohibited in running water and 300 m outside its inlet and outlet. This also applies to Bredviksgrundet. Nets, rudders and rudders must be well marked with a buoy/sign with name and telephone number. Pike shears are prohibited from being used within the entire area. Internet ban:

Outside Bredvikens Camping in Övre Fryken there are four orange buoys, where fishing is prohibited from 1/5 to Midsummer Eve. Catch limit:

Crayfish fishing is prohibited in the entire area, except Fryken between 8 Aug and 31 Aug, max 12 cages/fishing license per resident or owner. Local cards may only be purchased by residents or holiday homes within the fishery management area. Address must be stated on the fishing license . NOTE All forms of real-time sensors such as Livescope, Active target, megalive, etc. are prohibited from being used and mounted on boats. Valid from 2025-05-01 This applies to the entire FVOV.
Separate fishing licenses apply for trolling, ice fishing, vertical fishing and put and take Mlögtjärn.
The association charges a control fee of 3,500 SEK for violations of the rules.
