RULES for FISH

• Fishermen in our waters must have a fishing license, daily or annual license.
• Daily passes are valid from the time stated on the card and 24 hours ahead, annual passes are valid until the date written on the card.
• A fishing license entitles you to fish with one piece of fishing equipment for 24 hours.
• When the fishing quota is filled, fishing ends or a new fishing license is issued.
• Does not apply to members, see Information.
• For annual passes, the 24-hour rule begins to count when fishing begins.
• For annual passes, you can catch 3 game fish per day.
• If 3 valuable fish are caught, fishing is interrupted or a new 24-hour permit is issued.
• Float fishing is only permitted in Skribotjärn. In other waters, fishing from floats is not permitted.
• Fishing equipment when fishing with a float ring is fly fishing equipment, NOT a spinning rod and line or bottom fishing.
• Fishermen are allowed to use our piers but we have 1 pier for people with mobility problems. Please respect their problems and leave the piers to them.
• Mashing is NOT allowed.
• All fishing with fixed gear is prohibited.
• Paravanes, otter boards or other floating equipment may not be used.
• All crayfish fishing is prohibited.
• When fishing, fishing equipment must NOT be left unattended.
• Fires may only be made in designated areas.
• Parking of caravans or motorhomes is only permitted in designated areas at Skribotjärn and Potten.
• Items brought along may not be left or thrown away in designated collection containers or bags.
• Cigarette butts, snuff and fish cleaning products must not be thrown into our waters, on land or on the ice.
• Fishing license must be presented when a fishing inspector asks for it, a paper copy or photo of the fishing license.
• When purchasing a fishing license in Potten, only fly fishing equipment may be used.
